Yes to Sex is a mobile app, available for both the iOS and Android platforms, that are designed with the intention of completely formalizing sexual consent between teenagers so that there can be no misunderstandings or damaging, frivolous lawsuits as a result of an intimate encounter.
Developed by a mother of three, the app allows partners to go through a series of agreements that ultimately culminate in a requirement wherein the two partners have to record an audio confirmation that they have agreed to indulge in intercourse. The app also lets users generate a safe word, which can be used if one partner wants to abort the encounter for whatever reason.
