Clarks and Raheem Sterling Team Up to Deliver New 'Wallabee' Model

Footwear label Clarks has partnered with Chelsea soccer player Raheen Sterling to launch an all-new shoe collection that will be stocked and sold at JD Sports.

The new collection consists of a limited-edition version of the Clarks Wallabee, which has been co-designed by Sterling. The new shoe intends t evoke the soccer star's Jamaican heritage while referencing his place of birth, Kingston, Jamaica.

“In school I wanted to keep up with the kids wearing fresh kicks, so I was selling frozen slush after class to make money to buy my first pair of Wallabees. Fast forward and now to be the first Jamaican with my own Clarks collection is an honor. When I heard I could build this line, I was buzzing, it’s a brand I’ve loved from a young age so to have this opportunity is really special," said Sterling in a recent press release.
