These Purple Air Jordans Have Accents That Give a Luxurious Flare

Nike is reportedly honoring the late pop star Prince with a pair of purple Air Jordans. The colorway of the shoes has been dubbed 'Hyper Violet' -- a name that comes from the vibrant bursts of lilac color that complement the black upper perfectly.

The purple Air Jordans aren't too overpowering with this, as the deep charcoal color that takes over the majority of the shoe makes it more wearable for the less flashy consumer. The black upper is accented with snakeskin patterns that imprint the material near the sole, which are then offset by a smooth suede finish closer to the laces. The violet sole is paired well with slight gold accents, giving the shoes a more luxurious feel without being too overpowering.

The purple Air Jordans are said to be available as part of an in-store raffle only, giving the sneakers more exclusivity and making them more desirable amongst sneaker collectors.
