adidas Debuts the Forum Mid in a New 'Patchwork' Iteration

adidas is releasing a new iteration of the Forum Mid dubbed ‘Patchwork.’ The new colorway is inspired by the Bauhaus movement, which celebrated geometric, abstract styles that are synonymous with the decor of the German art school.

Initially designed as a basketball sneaker, the Forum Mid was targeted at consumers who wanted a better outlet to express themselves on the court. The new colorway features shades of ‘Core Black,’ ‘Shadow Red,’ and ‘Clear Granite’ across the mixed material uppers, spherical motifs on the collars, double-stacked heel tabs, and a rubber heel coated in a dark orange shade. Burnt yellow decorates the eyestays, and the sock liner is designed with a geometric abstract pattern.

The Forum Mid ‘Patchwork’ will launch on September 15 via the adidas website and at select retailers.
