Porsche Design Unveils New P’8950 50Y Iconic 3D Sunglasses

Continuing its 50th-anniversary celebrations, Porsche Design has introduced P’8950 50Y Iconic 3D sunglasses, the newest addition to its 50Y Porsche Design Capsule Collection.

Sticking with its future-forward approach to design, Porsche Design's new shades boast a sleek and unconventional style, and they are not made using traditional manufacturing methods. Instead, they are made from titanium powder and constructed through a unique 3D printing process that requires the dust-like titanium to be melted with a laser. In addition, the 50Y special edition frames feature a single one-piece black mirror lens and lightweight RxP high-performance temples geared towards improving comfort.

The 50Y special-edition frames are limited to 911 units and come packed in a luxurious 50Y Porsche Design wooden gift box.
