The Osman Spring/Summer Collection Honors the Great Frida Kahlo

The Osman Spring/Summer 2016 collection pays artistic respects to the Mexican creative Frida Kahlo. This collection captures Mexican style as well as the artist's powerful work.

Osman's Spring/Summer collection begins with monochromatic looks that symbolize the sweeping brushstrokes of Kahlo's once active paint brushes. Tiered gowns and exaggerated asymmetrical necklines convey the many directions the painter's brush would go. Displaying a Mexican aesthetic, this collection also offers wide brim hats, big belts, ribbon neck-ties and a selection of bright red pieces. The African designer was also sure to include Kahlo's signature floral headband which is the perfect spring statement piece.

The Osman Spring/Summer 2016 collection also debuts a capsule menswear line which includes lively suits and eccentrically patterned shirts.
