The Nike Air Max 1 was debuted in 1987. A quarter-century later, the shoe has been seen in many different designs and still holds mass popularity. If anything, they are now a sub-culture and seen on fashionable feet world wide.
Illustrator Björn von Schulz paid tribute to the shoe by rounding up his favourite Air Max shoes of all-time and illustrating them on a plain-white canvas. The minimal poster displays fifty Air Max 1s, but there has definitely been many more on the market over the past 25 years. Björn's subjective picks are a cross-selection of colors. He includes everything from a plain, all-gray Air Maxs to neon-yellow ones.
The collection of air-pocketed shoes also have the year of make underneath each shoe. The kickin' poster is now available on Egotrips.
