Jordan Brand Revisits the Air Jordan 1 with the 'Newstalgia'

Jordan Brand is adding another colorway to the Air Jordan 1 lineup with the debut of the ‘Newstalgia’ Air Jordan 1. The sneaker is also known as ‘Chenille,’ which refers to the material used on the Swooshes, and relies on a vibrant red color palette for most of its construction. The ‘Newstalgia’ name perfectly reflects the shoe’s origins, arriving as a new version of Michael Jordan’s original pair of Air Jordan 1. The shoe uses ‘Light Iron Ore,’ ‘Varsity Red,’ and ‘Sail’ tones across the silhouette, including on the base, overlays, collars, and tongues.
The sneakers rest atop a ‘Sail’ midsole and a red outsole, drawing attention to the ‘Chenille’ Swooshes seen on the lateral mid panels. A ‘Newstalgia’ hangtag uses the same ‘Chenille’ material, combining red and white tones for a unique addition to the nostalgic shoe. The ‘Newstalgia’ will debut in the near future via Nike’s website and select retailers.
