Breitling reintroduced the Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis, a 41mm wristwatch paying direct homage to the musician’s preferred Navitimer ref. 806. The limited edition is capped at 500 pieces and features the signature “reverse panda” dial, vintage-inspired yellow luminous material and the Breitling Manufacture Caliber B09, a COSC-certified movement with a 70-hour power reserve visible through a sapphire caseback.
The watch ships with either a brown calf leather strap or a stainless steel “Air Racer” bracelet that references a 1960s design, and its dial carries the midcentury Breitling “Twin Jet” logo. The caseback is engraved “One of 500” and “Miles Davis Centennial.” Breitling also offers a separate 50-piece set with steel, yellow gold and platinum variants; the trio comes with lifetime access to the brand’s club.
For buyers the piece pairs historic styling with a modern in-house movement while preserving the late-’60s 41mm sizing. Owners also get short- and long-term club access benefits tied to the release, combining provenance with experiential perks.
