Montblanc Taps Public School to Launch Eco-Friendly Bag Collection
Niko Pajkovic — October 16, 2021 — Fashion
German luxury retailer Montblanc has teamed up with New York-based streetwear label Public School to deliver a new collection of sustainably designed bags and accessories. The five-piece collection consists of eco-conscious materials selected by the two brands to showcase their mutual support for green fashion.
Key pieces in the collection are made from a special material called 'ECONYL' -- a nylon yarn made from regenerative waste, including carpets, fishing nets, and fabric scraps. In addition, the metal elements incorporated into the bags' designs are made from recyclable stainless steel hardware.
The collection consists of five stylish silhouettes: a duffle, envelope, envelope mini, belt bag, and cardholder. The items draw from Montblanc's expertise in luxury travel and lifestyle design while implementing Public School's distinct streetwear aesthetic.
