The Mirte van Wijngaarden Spring/Summer 2015 collection was presented during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam. The designer's work is "characterized by the use of masculine elements that are translated in a new and groundbreaking way."

Mirte's models resembled modern Vikings and donned ensembles made up of layered fabrics and dramatically draped details. The guys took to the runway stage in draped coats, drop crotch trousers and layered vest looks that were paired with top-knot hair and metallic comsetics that were reminiscent of war paint.

In addition to her complex constructions, the Mirte van Wijngaarden Spring/Summer 2015 collection features the use of experimental textures and materials. Her collections capture movement and are designed with both aesthetics and comfort in mind.
