Nike Unveils Its Future-Forward Mercurial Vapor Next Nature Shoe

Sportswear giant Nike has unveiled the newest version of its Mercurial Vapor sneaker, one of the brand's most iconic football shoes, which made its debut on the feet of legendary player Cristiano Ronaldo in 1998. Ever since its 1990s release, the sneaker has been continually updated, receiving a total of seven updated precision-engineered components over the years.

Now, the newest iteration, dubbed the Mercurial Vapor Next Nature arrives with a new series of upgrades, including a 100 percent recycled plate. Overall, the sneaker is made from 50 percent recycled materials. For example, the shoe's four-layered uppers are made from recycled polyester, while other parts of the sneaker are constructed from manufactured scraps, recycled TPU, and 3D printed Flyprint.

Aesthetically, the shoes boast a sleek future-forward design consisting of semi-translucent white overlays, a threaded Swoosh, clear and black studs, and a bright orange 'Just Do It' print.
