I'm a huge fan of Marlon Brando and I'm also a Star Wars fanatic, so when I came across this Vader Godfather poster by Mathiole, I nearly flipped the laptop I'm writing this article on in excitement.
Mathiole, whose real name is Matheus Lopes Castro, is a Brazilian artist who has quite a talent for recreating iconic imagery infused with anachronistic elements. My favorite recreation, besides the Vader Godfather poster, of course, is Mathiole's illustration of famous philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche as Superman. I wonder what Nietzsche would think of the modern-day representation of the Ubermensch.
Implications - Consumers enjoy seeing pop culture collaborations, as it reinvigorates their interest in the references involved. Corporations can similarly garner attention from consumers for their existent products by mixing their applications with another existing item.
