The enormous popularity of Mast Brothers artisanal chocolate bars is a testament to the good taste of Rick and Michael Mast.

Now, the Mast Brothers have taken that impeccable sense of beauty and applied it to the design of their roastery and flagship store in Brooklyn -- a must-see destination for those attending Trend Hunter’s New York innovation conference. The entirely renovated chocolate shop will feature stark white displays and black wood shelving, the better to showcase the pretty packaging of Mast Brothers chocolate bars and the exquisite design of individual chocolates. Design touches -- like the cubic black display stands and the burlap bags of cocoa beans along the walls -- echo the chocolate production process.

The Mast Brothers decided to renovate the Williamsburg boutique in order to better reflect the aesthetic of their brand. They also wanted it to echo the style of their recently-opened location in Shoreditch, London, England.
