Marshall is a company renowned for manufacturing world class guitar and instrument amplifiers, but with the Marshall London is now looking to make a foray into the smartphone world.
This amplifier features a bevy of music and audio-focused features. It is equipped with a Wolfson WM8281 soundcard for high-resolution audio playback, and is fitted with dual front-facing speakers which are possibly the loudest speakers on amy mobile phone. The phone also includes a pair of stereo audio jacks with independent volume controls, and comes with a pair of Mode in-ear headphones.
The Marshall London shows how the smartphone market is becoming increasingly niche, with devices being conceived to target people with very specific interests. This may well spur manufacturers of other electronics to explore the smartphone market.
