Fur Stripe Couture

The Marni Fall 2013 Collection is Replete with Animal Hide Cuts

The Marni Fall 2013 collection was unveiled at this year's Milan Fashion Week. Displayed along the Italian runway were an assortment of fur cuts, all of which were draped in an angular manner across the ensembles, giving off a chic striped effect.

While many designers have incorporated fur in diverse forms, this Marni Fall 2013 line is among the few to step outside of a grey scale color scheme. In place of the muted tones are pops of yellow, green and blue, making the pieces well suited to an impressive assortment of scenarios, not all of which are necessarily upscale. Present alongside these opulent pelts were handheld purses, leather backpacks and loosely hanging strap bags.
