TABASCO and Iñaki Godoy Turn Mexican Recipes into Manga

TABASCO is expanding manga-inspired brand cookbooks through Chaos Kitchen!, a free digital recipe book co-created with actor and longtime brand fan Iñaki Godoy. Designed to be read from right to left, the illustrated cookbook features 10 Mexican recipes incorporating TABASCO sauces. The collaboration also names Godoy the brand’s first Chief Hot Ideas Person, turning his playful approach to cooking into a broader campaign encouraging consumers to embrace mess and experimentation in the kitchen.

The campaign gives TABASCO a way to connect its products with Mexican cooking occasions through entertainment-driven content rather than conventional advertising. Transforming an organic social media interaction with Godoy into a larger partnership also gives the campaign an authentic origin that could resonate with his fanbase. The downloadable cookbook can encourage consumers to use multiple TABASCO varieties while creating shareable content that extends engagement beyond a traditional celebrity endorsement.
