The editorial depicts a tale as old as time: two young girls, desperately seeking an escape from the mind-numbing reality of suburbia, stumble upon an abandoned house in which they can live out their fantasies. The girls alleviate their small-town boredom by imagining the possibilities (and secrets) lurking within this former family home. I'm not sure why -- perhaps it's the rebellious nature of being where you don't belong -- but being inside an abandoned anything will always be exciting.
Elisa Silvestri styled the girls in springy, pastel pieces by Jimmy Choo, Chanel, Vinti Andrews and Olimpia Le Tan. Hannah Gaskin was responsible for their retro makeup, while Piera Berdicchia finished off the look with some messy hair that recalls memories of adolescence.
