Punk Cowgirl Editorials

The L’Officiel Netherlands June 2014 Photoshoot Stars Charlotte Carey

The L’Officiel Netherlands June 2014 cover shoot embraces the cowgirl looks that many designers are pushing this summer season. Yet it takes more of a Chanel approach à la the Paris-Dallas ad campaign starring Kristen Stewart. Adding a touch of punk to the Western theme, the model has a big attitude that is matched with bright red hair and bleached brows.

Shot by photographer Billy Kidd, the L’Officiel Netherlands June 2014 cover shoot stars Charlotte Carey, who also happens to be featured in Pharrell’s 'Marilyn Monroe' video. Celebrating its fiftieth issue with two covers, the photoshoot was styled by Michelle Cameron, who pulled cowgirl chic staples including denim, rustic shawls and shearling coats. Hair stylist Shin Arima and makeup artist Itsuki were on beauty duty.
