MOUNTAIN RESEARCH Drops the 'Les Montagnards' Capsule for FW18

Kobayashi Setsumasa's Japanese fashion label MOUNTAIN RESEARCH introduces the new collection for the Fall/Winter 2018 season entitled 'Les Montagnards' and it is showcased in the form of a dark lookbook. The name of the collection directly translates to "mountain dwellers" and it has a secondary subject that reads "for protestors." The latest seasonal range draws in design cues that are true to MOUNTAIN RESEARCH with its dark muted designs. This is intricately done in order to represent something that is influenced by rioting.

Notably, the entire Les Montagnards collection boasts a black base with slogans embellished on the items reading "Everything For the Freedom." The lookbook follows the overarching theme as it is shot in front of a plain black background and decorated with contrasting red flowers. The pieces include polo shirts, tees, motocross pants, ponchos, vests, parkas, hats, anoraks, berets, and balaclavas.
