The beautiful photographs were shot by famed photographer Annie Lebowitz. Les Miserables, a story about love, hardships and relationships, takes place in 18th century France. Each image personifies the look of an 18th-century European painting and are shot perfectly to reflect the personalities of their characters. Anne Hathaway embodies her character Fantine effortlessly as a working class girl who, from her pose to her facial expression, evokes the struggles and misfortunes that her character endures.
With such intriguing and well-captured portraits, the upcoming Les Miserables movie is not to be missed.
