Back-to-school season is upon us and Land O’Lakes is expanding its portfolio to include a new lunchbox-friendly format: Snack Cheese Cubes.
Designed to give parents a convenient lunch and after-school snack option, Land O’Lakes Snack Cheese Cubes come in pre-portioned packs of eight one-ounce packs of bite-sized cheese cubes. The cheese also comes in three flavors – Colby Jack, Pepper Jack and Extra Sharp White Cheddar – to give parents a variety of options. As Heather Anfang, EVP and President of Dairy Doods at Land O’Lakes, explains, "As consumers increasingly seek convenient, high-quality foods that fit today's busy lifestyles, we're focused on delivering products that make every eating occasion more enjoyable."

- Bite-sized Convenience
- Single-serve cube formats reflect growing demand for mess-free, portion-controlled foods that fit busy family schedules and on-the-go eating occasions.
- Flavor-variety Snacking
- Kid- and parent-friendly flavor assortments open pathways for everyday snack products to feel more customizable, reducing lunchbox fatigue through familiar but distinct options.
Who This Affects Most
- Dairy Products
- Cheese makers can expand beyond traditional blocks and slices by developing portable, ready-to-eat formats that align with modern snacking behavior.
- Packaged Snacks
- The snack category is being reshaped by refrigerated, protein-rich options that challenge shelf-stable chips, crackers, and sweets in lunchbox occasions.
