adidas continues to grow its collaborative work with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the two revive some basketball shoes for the season. The two forces first worked together in the 70s with the Jabbar sneaker model and now, it is getting a refreshing new take.
Originally launched in 1978, the shoes have a retro yet timeless design due to the minimal factor of it all. In its long lifetime, the Jabbar shoes have been seen in a variety of cuts from low, to mid, and high-top formations. This time around, the silhouette has a supple leather finish across the upper which gives it a premium look and feel. It also provides easy movement across the basketball court.
