A new line of JW Anderson sneakers have made their debut, marking a first for the British fashion house that's largely known for its unisex styles.
The label's sneaker designs are said to take inspiration from early gym shoes, and bear a resemblance to the classic Chuck Taylor All-Stars that were originally made for basketball. The JW Anderson sneakers boast a leather and canvas build, which is accented by a thick gum sole that supplies it with a chunky aesthetic. The leather material is laid overtop of the canvas and attached with exposed stitching, giving the sneakers a slightly unfinished look that adds to their appeal.
The JW Anderson sneakers are expected to launch in May 2021, and will be available in neutral and bright colorways.
