Posh Pastoral Editorials

The June 2014 Vogue UK Josh Olins Photoshoot Features Farmland

The June 2014 Vogue UK editorial by photographer Josh Olins showcases the likes of models Ashleigh Good and Andreea Diaconu. In each image, the models are found in a barren farm, encasing them with little else aside from grass, sand and water.

In spite of the natural, rustic backdrop, both Good and Diaconu are captured sporting upscale outfits appropriate for city settings. Stylist Clare Richardson dressed the pair in long trench coats, two piece denim suits and cut-out ivory pieces, apparel that is certainly well-suited to settings outside of the pastoral realm.

Given the bucolic backdrop, make up expert Sally Branka stuck to the basics with smoky eye shadow and exaggerated cheekbones. Aside from these additions however Good and Diaconu remained untouched.
