Jimmy Choo Releases a Sailor Moon-Inspired Capsule Collection

Jimmy Choo is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon with a themed capsule collection inspired by female empowerment and individuality. The collection is supposed to accurately represent the influence of Sailor Moon on pop culture and fashion and features a slew of talented female creatives behind every piece.

The Sailor Guardians, also known as Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, and Sailor Moon, as well as their mentor cat, Luna, serve as the inspiration for the collection and appear across a range of accessories and footwear.

“I am extremely happy that the characters and stories that came from my imagination are now loved by many people around the world,” commented Sailor Moon author Naoko Takeuchi. “What has always been truly important to me is the youthful, pure imagination and power of the young girls. I believe that the Jimmy Choo brand also has these qualities.”
