INITIAL Gentleman and Capcom Debut a Street Fighter II-Themed Capsule

— August 31, 2022 — Fashion
INITIAL Gentleman has tapped Capcom to design a Street Fighter II-inspired capsule collection for the franchise’s 35th anniversary. The collection features nine graphic tees and one kimono inspired by Ryu, a fan favorite from the series. Characters like Chun Li, Blanka, Guile, Ken, Zangief, Dhalsim, E.Honda, and Ryu make an appearance on the semi-embroidered T-shirt graphics, next to Street Fighter II and INITIAL co-branding. Additional design elements include game features such as ‘PUSH START,’ ‘INSERT CORN,’ ‘CONTINUE,’ AND ‘GAME OVER’ text prompts and retro branding.

The collection also offers an ‘Electric Shock’ T-shirt and a navy kimono jacket with embroidered elements and oversized pockets. The Street Fighter II x INITIAL Gentleman collection is now available on the brand’s website and retail location in Hong Kong. Everything is packaged in a unique 35th anniversary box that looks like a vintage Street Fighter II cassette.
