The quote is in reference to a 2009 song by British rock band The Heavy. The song, which samples Dyke and the Blazer's 'Let a Woman be a Woman,' is about a man confessing his misdeeds to his lady. In an interview, lead singer Kevin Swaby describes the song as being told by a cocksure dude who is enjoying a position of power in his relationship. Swaby explains, "I'm trying to say that I've been really, really, really bad, you shouldn't love me after all. And I'm telling you I've done this and this and this, so how do you like me now?"
