The looks showcased throughout the Herald Sun Sunday Life May 2012 editorial are a cross between tough chic and exotic beauty. While accessories such as a draping nose ring and printed turban speak to the latter (not to mention model Shanina Shaik's overall exotic features), the use of clothing pieces such as chainmail-like skirts and makeup looks that are dark and mysterious add to the former.
The Herald Sun Sunday Life May 2012 editorial was lensed by London-based photographer Jeff Hahn. Stylist Ben Schofield outfitted the Australian beauty in a vibrant, feminine and youthful wardrobe filled with designs from the likes of Paco Rabanne, Maarten Van Der Hors and House of Holland. Her tousled tresses and dramatic eyeshadow were created by beauty artist Gemma Wheatcroft.
