Garbstore and Bodega Launch a Winter Jacket Inspired by Their Cultures

Garbstore and Bodega have connected to design a new coat that utilizes goose-down insulation in order to regulate body temperature while outside in the winter elements. The jacket celebrates Garbstore and Bodega’s U.K. and U.S. heritages, fusing design elements from British wax jackets with early outdoor apparel found in the Pacific East. The jacket itself boasts a Japanese cotton twill construction, featuring references to cotton hunting jackets from the past through its relaxed fit. Bodega’s unique style finds its way onto the military-inspired nylon waist-adjusting pull-cords and chest and neck loops.

In addition, the coat also includes a hidden ripstop liner with goose-down padding, as well as elastic storm cuffs to keep the heat inside. The outdoor item is finished with corduroy and check flannel detailing, velcro pads, and hunting patches.
