Google Has Debuted Two New Game-Ready Chromebooks on Chrome OS

Google's Chromebooks have previously been used for lightweight and compact productivity, however, the company has unveiled two upcoming gaming Chromebooks. These Chromebooks will be released following an update to Chrome OS that adds support for the popular PC gaming platform 'Steam.' Due to this being an operating system update, even owners of older Chromebooks will likely be able to enjoy easy-to-run videogames.

The new Chromebooks, though, will be capable of playing much more intense video games without compromising on size and weight through the use of NVIDIA's DLSS feature. NVIDIA recently showcased DLSS running on Arm-based Chromebooks, meaning the upcoming Google laptops will be more appealing to gamers instead of just working professionals. On top of this, for gamers who love RGB lights on their accessories, the update to Chrome OS will also be adding RGB control support for apps such as 'Razer' or 'OpenRGB.'
