Sportscar-Inspired Electric Boats

Porsche and Frauscher Shipyard Join to Design the Fantom Air

Porsche works in collaboration with Australian imprint Frauscher Shipyard to design the new technology-fuelled Fantom Air boat. The duo delivers the exclusive sports boat with inspiration drawn from the Frauscher 858 Fantom Air with premium driving characteristics. It is exclusive as there will only be 25 units created and shipping will start sometime in 2024. The most defining elements of the upcoming boat are its impressive acceleration, strong pulling power, premium visual design, and high-end performance.

Deputy chairman at Porsche AG Lutz Meschke states, “We stand for state-of-the-art, high-performance, and sustainable luxury—and we are redefining this concept. Our goal is to inspire our customers and make their dreams come true." Frauscher Shipyard's CEO Stefan Frauscher continues, “Electric drives are also increasingly important in our industry as well. On the one hand, they are increasingly enjoying more social acceptance, and on the other, our customers are very happy about the advantages of electromobility."
