JINS Eyewear Has Partnered with TV-Show EVANGELION on 'EVA Unit' Frames

Online glasses brand JINS Eyewear has announced an all-new collaboration with the anime show EVANGELION that will feature optical frames and sunglasses based on the series' 'EVA UNIT-01' and '02.' The new partnership aims to celebrate the upcoming 'EVANGELION: 3.0 +1.0 Thrice Upon a Time' film.

Inspired by the show's 'EVA UNIT-01' the collection's 'Test Type Unit 01' eyeglasses come in a gray steel frame with purple accents and green hexagonal tips. Meanwhile, the 'The Production Model Unit 02' -- based on the 'AVA UNIT-02' -- come equipped with black rims featuring four studs intended to mimic the appearance of the robot's eyes.

Finally, the 'Test Type Unit 01 Sunglasses' are a sporty pair of shades built with interchangeable silver and rainbow chrome lenses.
