Viewsonic Achieves EPEAT 2.0 Registration for Its VG2456 Model

ViewSonic has achieved EPEAT 2.0 registration for its WorkPro collection VG2456 monitor. This designation makes the company an early adopter of the Global Electronics Council's updated sustainability criteria, which now places stronger emphasis on climate impact, circularity, hazardous chemicals, and responsible supply chains throughout the electronics lifecycle.

The EPEAT 2.0 certification verifies that ViewSonic's WorkPro collection VG2456 monitor meets significantly elevated environmental standards, including power consumption of just 24 watts, which is ten percent below ENERGY STAR requirements. The company notes that its product now ranks among the top 20% energy-efficient displays available on the market.

The WorkPro collection VG2456 monitor also comes in packaging made from 80% recyclable materials. The company replaces harmful polystyrene foam with paper-based cushioning and uses water-based inks for exterior printing.
