The Drought x Napster capsule collection is a new lineup of designs from the design studio that pays homage to the namesake peer-to-peer sharing platform. The collection features three pieces including a candle, bag and bracelet, which are each inspired by the aesthetic of Napster. The candle is shaped like a CD ready to be burned, while the bracelet features miniature decals of the Napster logo and the bag comes as an oversized version of the same.
The Drought x Napster capsule collection will make its formal debut via Drought's website starting May 31, 2024 and is expected to be a must-have amongst those who grew up in the era of the P2P platform. The products come as part of a larger wave of Millennium nostalgia items as a way for Millennials to relive their glory days and even provide Gen Z with retro styles for their collection.
