Layered Drink Lineups

The New DRIPS by Pepsi Lineup Delivers a Customizable Experience

Saucy! by KFC is introducing a new flavor-driven drink experience with the launch of a DRIPS by Pepsi lineup.

Designed to complement Saucy!'s chicken tender and sauce-centric menu, the new DRIPS by Pepsi lineup gives consumers new customizable drink options that incorporate layered flavors like caramel cold foam, and popular mix-ins like jalapeno and blue raspberry popping boba. In total, there are four new DRIPS by Pepsi beverages that will be available at all existing and new Saucy! locations. These flavors include Pepsi Zero Sugar Salted Caramel Fizz, Tropicana Rainbow Splash Lemonade, Mountain Dew Chili Chill, and PynkRaze Pop. There will also be an additional, fifth flavor called Tropical Energy Escape that will be exclusive to the brand's flagship location in Tampa, Florida.

Savory and Spicy Beverage Pairings
Beverages incorporating jalapeño and chili notes indicate a shift toward integrating traditionally savory or spicy elements into drinks to complement food-centric menus and broaden flavor palettes.
Location Exclusive Variants
Flagship-only flavor drops and region-specific offerings enable scarcity-driven demand and experimental product testing within controlled store environments.

Industries Being Reshaped

Quick Service Restaurants
Fast-casual chains can redefine menu ecosystems by bundling customizable beverage modules with core items to increase average check and drive repeat visits.
Beverage Manufacturing
Ingredient suppliers and drink brands face pressure to develop stable, mixable components like popping boba and flavored foams that maintain quality across cold and carbonated formats.
Foodservice Technology
Point-of-sale and kitchen automation systems could be disrupted by the need to support dynamic, build-your-own beverage workflows and inventory tracking for interchangeable mix-ins.
