Splashy Graffiti Editorials

Di Henri Photographs Eve Smith in 'Another Brick in the Wall'

Photographer Di Henri collaborated with Ford Model's Eve Smith in the 'Another Brick in the Wall' editorial for C-Heads.

Inspired by graffiti artists, Henri "pasted" images of Smith on top of a vividly colored brick wall background. This cut-and-paste style lended the editorial its rough-around-the-edges appeal. Far from polished, the editorial looks like a collage you might have made out of your favorite fashion magazines in high school. However, this purposefully amateurish vibe is exactly what makes it so endearing.

Stylist Fernanda Martin Del Campo infused each outfit with rope, whether it was in the form of a necklace, headband or knotted bodice. Hair stylist Jojo Torres was responsible for Smith's choppy platinum hair, while makeup artist Ernesto Casillas used white mascara for an eye-popping effect.
