For designers like David Brodsky, drawing inspiration from popular franchises like Star Wars can be a double-edged sword. On the one hand, the imagery and characters associated with such franchises provides designers with the opportunity to connect naturally with well-established audiences. On the other, such audiences can be quite fickle and difficult to please. If a designer renders a character in an unsatisfactory way, they could face a lot of criticism from die hard fans. Brodsky doesn't need to worry about this though.
His recreation of the classic Star Wars character 'Boba Fett' is sure to please most fans of the giant science fiction franchise. The figurine is comprised of a diminutive body and disproportionately large head, almost a caricature of the real deal. This adds a welcome air of humor and levity to the cult-hit character.
