Diagao, the owner of Crown Royal, is responsible for appointing Osamu Koyama the task of designing and creating the Crown Royal Black pocket watch. The customized piece is part of a promotion for the Canadian whiskey.

The pocket watch's design draws inspiration from various royal family crests, military medals and honorary medallions. Attached to a gold chain, the pocket watch is rather posh and exquisite-looking, with a black enamel finish, studded black crystals and diamond indexes. The Crown Royal Black custom-made pocket watch was handcrafted with meticulous detail; the final product is both a stunning and timeless piece of jewelry.
