Alumnae's Line of Simple Flats Feature Woven and Strappy Designs

— November 2, 2015 — Fashion
'Alumnae' is a shoe line of classic flats designed by two former 'Sigerson Morrison' designers. Kari Sigerson and her partner Eliza Axelson-Chidsey have taken their knowledge of high-quality Italian shoes and turned it into a slightly more reasonably priced line.

The shoes are beautiful and timeless in the 'Resort 2016' line -- mostly featuring neutral colors with a lot of black and white. A particularly stunning style is a pair of side-lacing shoes that feature a cow-like brown and white material.

The line ranges from strappy sandals to Oxford-like classic flats, none of them straying into heel territory. The designers decided to focus on creating a line of solely flat shoes for women, as they saw that void in the marketplace next to a plethora of well-made heels.
