In an attempt to make a name for themselves as a stylish back-to-school alternative, Skechers has released a chunky shoe that's equal part nostalgic and of them times.
Like many other labels, Skechers are releasing designs that are remisicient of the Y2K style, which has been rising in popularity among Gen Zs. To do this, Skechers launched the D'Lites and Energy Holographic in bold colorways and daring silhouettes, making a departure from the function-focused shoes the brand typically produces. The holographic collection uses the iridescent material to create a more nostalgic look. This paired with the shoe's silhouette, which features a chunky, oversized look, makes for a unique back-to-school look that's sure to help one stand out.
