Italian Champagne Specialist Courses

The Italian Wine Academy Hosts Comité Champagne's Course

The Italian Wine Academy is hosting the Champagne Specialist course — a learning opportunity "created and certified by the Comité Champagne" — in Verona for a second time. The initiative is offered in separate sessions conducted in English and Italian in February 2026.

The Champagne Specialist course is an intensive, in-person educational program officially sanctioned by the governing body of the Champagne region. The curriculum is designed to provide a comprehensive and technical understanding of Champagne production, styles, and commercial practices. The learning experience will be structured around lectures, practical workshops, and guided tastings of numerous wines. This will include 14 hours of in-person classes, and participants will be able to taste 12 Champagnes and two more during the exam. It will all culminate in a formal examination to certify participants' expertise.
