Candy-Colored Rivière Jewelry

Larkspur & Hawk And Blanca Miró Rework Classic Riviere Jewellery Wit

Larkspur & Hawk has teamed up with Spanish fashion designer Blanca Miró on a colourful new jewellery collection that gives traditional rivière pieces a fresh look. The range includes necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings, using layered gemstones to create bold stripes of colour rather than the usual single-colour finish.

The designs bring together Miró’s playful approach to colour and founder Emily Satloff’s interest in Georgian-era jewellery. Shades including red and blue are arranged in stacked strands, while foil placed beneath the stones draws on an old jewellery-making technique to make their colours appear richer and more vibrant.

Presented in New York at Thirty8East, the collaboration takes inspiration from antique craftsmanship but gives it a more contemporary feel. The striped designs bring a fashion-led edge to classic gemstone jewellery, making the pieces feel suited to everyday styling as well as more formal occasions.
