BroadwayHD is a new streaming service that is taking the Netflix model and applying it to recorded Broadway shows for theater lovers.
As much as it would be wonderful to live in New York City and be able to attend Broadway shows all the time, many of us around the world only have access to it once in a while. For avid theater and musical fans who aren't in the Big Apple, BroadwayHD brings the world's most famous area for live performance into their own homes. Unlike Netflix, BroadwayHD offers users one of two payment models: with their BroadwayHD accounts, theater lovers can choose to sign up for a subscription, allowing them unlimited access to BroadwayHD's library of over a hundred titles, or they can rent one movie for a single-time use.
