GIGABYTE has announced a strategic expansion of its artificial intelligence product ecosystem under the banner 'BEYOND EDGE,' which encompasses a wide array of hardware and software solutions targeting developers, enterprises, and consumers.
GIGABYTE's initiative is structured around three core principles — scalable edge computing, the integration of AI into personal computing devices, and performance optimization through intelligent systems. A significant component is the AI TOP Ecosystem, which pairs specialized hardware like the AI TOP ATOM — a compact system utilizing the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip — with proprietary software to facilitate the local operation and refinement of extremely large language models, some exceeding 600 billion parameters, through techniques such as Mixture of Experts. For mobile computing, the company introduced the AORUS AI BOX series, external graphics processing units based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, which are designed to provide substantial computational upgrades to laptops for gaming, content creation, and AI tasks. The laptop portfolio itself has been updated to include features like the GiMATE AI Agent with coding and creation assistants, alongside support for Copilot+ and RTX AI.
