Opel's Astra GSE Line is a sharper take on the compact hatchback, with a fully electric version rated at up to 276 hp. It replaces the GS trim and sits across the full powertrain range, from gasoline to battery electric.
The styling gets a darker, more dynamic look with black trim at the side intakes, GSE Line badging, and trim-specific lighting in the Vizor grille. Buyers can also choose 17-inch diamond-cut wheels or step up to 18-inch versions.
Inside, the cabin picks up yellow stitching and piping on key touch points, plus aluminum pedals and optional sports seats with integrated headrests. The model is set for a Paris Motor Show appearance next month, with market arrival planned for spring 2027.
The GSE Line gives drivers a sportier look and feel without requiring them to commit to a specific powertrain. For automakers, this reflects an opportunity to make performance-inspired design more accessible across a broader lineup, allowing consumers to prioritize style and driving identity.
