This Sportswear Collection is Inspired by Arthur Ashe

French retailer 'Le Coq Sportif,' is paying tribute to tennis legend Arthur Ashe with its new collection inspired by the late athlete.

Apart from breaking racial and color barriers in tennis, Ashe was also known to have a distinct style on the court. Many of the style elements that Ashe brought to the court are now being adapted for a comfort-focused sportswear collection. This is the french retailer's latest line to pay homage to Arthur Ashe -- this time around, the brand incorporated classic French styling with a recognizable sportswear aesthetic.

The silhouette for its shoes stays the same as previous versions but is updated with jacquard details to feature the athlete's name. A series of perforations for ventilation also give this shoes a distinctive look. The shoes are complemented with matching tracksuits that feature both the brand's logo and an elegantly stitched Arthur Ashe patch.
