Androgynous looks are coveted in the high-end fashion world. Photographer Jeff Hahn uses boyish female model Zlata Mangafic and Andrej Pejic-like model Niall Underwood for a fashion spread for i-D online.
The tale of the photographs is all-too-familiar, showing a love story where boy meets girl and boy and girl are completely and hopelessly enthralled with one another. The twist is introduced when the audience realizes these two are so in love that they start mimicking each other to feel even closer.
The photos are influenced by couples who are so enamored with one another that they start resembling each other. The matching brunettes are outfitted with grungy men's attire and mixed colored jumpers. Mangafic and Underwood were styled by Nic Jottkandt, dressing them up in J.W. Anderson, Martine Rose and Joseph Turvey.
