AllTrails and Claude Bring Hiking to the AI Assistant
Michael Hemsworth — April 26, 2026 — Tech
AllTrails and Claude have announced a partnership that will see the outdoor brand bringing its database to the chatbot to make the process of planning out a hike more seamless. The new AllTrails in Claude integration will provide users with the ability to use natural language conversation to be returned with recommendations for trails that suit their preferences. Users can thus simply describe the type of hike they're looking to do, which will then prompt Claude to leverage the AllTrails database of information based on geolocation, filters and recommendations by those who have done it before.
The AllTrails and Claude partnership will see Anthropic leveraging the crowdsourced hiking database to help better support users, while also helping to incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) into the experience for avid outdoors enthusiasts.
