The Air Tube Earphones were created by design trio Sunmi Hwang, Hyunjoo-Lee and Jiwon-Seok.

The earphones stop your phone or MP3 from playing music once they detect a drop in pressure; the drop in pressure being caused by the removal of the earbuds from the ears. The Air Tube Earphones would be especially useful in preserving the batteries of smartphones. Headphones that stop a phone from playing music would help keep today's already weak smartphone batteries last longer.
